Scott D. Segal is an attorney with 20 years of “Human Resources” law experience (including employment law, benefits, executive compensation, equity distribution and I-9 compliance), admitted to practice in Florida and New York.  Mr. Segal counsels on issues with employment law, wage and hour issues, qualified and non-qualified plans, executive compensation plans, and health and welfare benefit plans.  He also advises and assists with transitioning employee benefits and executive compensation issues for numerous newly acquired or merged companies.

Mr. Segal is also qualified to be a “Qualified 401(k) Administrator,” a designation given by the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries.

Mr. Segal earned his B.A. in economics in 1993 from The City University of New York at Hunter College, and his J.D. in 1996 from the New York Law School (cum laude).  Prior to opening his own practice, Mr. Segal worked for some of New York and Florida’s biggest law firms, including Clifford Chance LLP and Holland & Knight LLP.
